3.Location

•Can develop anywhere on the body but most commonly found on the neck, shoulders, back, abdomen, arms, or thighs.

4.Painless

•Most lipomas are not tender. However, if a lipoma presses against nerves, it can cause discomfort or even pain.

5.No Skin Changes

•The skin over the lipoma usually looks normal, without redness or swelling.

6.Well-Defined Shape

•The lump is round or oval and has clearly defined edges.

•It feels hard or immovable.

•When Recommended: If the lipoma is painful, rapidly growing, pressing on nerves, or causing discomfort (as in the neck, where movement might be affected).

•Recovery: Usually quick, with minimal scarring depending on the size.

3. Liposuction

•Procedure: A needle or thin tube is used to suction out the fatty tissue.

•Best For: Larger lipomas in areas where scarring needs to be minimized.

•Limitations: It might not completely remove all tissue, so recurrence is possible.
