70 years later, an ancient object was found inside a cup at the museum

Recently, a staff member at the Auschwitz Museum made a surprising discovery: an object had been hidden in a cup for nearly 70 years.

Over time, the bottom of the cup had deteriorated, and the employee noticed that it had a double bottom.

Upon closer inspection, he found that it contained a gold chain and ring, hidden underneath this bottom.

It is believed that these objects were carefully concealed by their owner, a prisoner, in the hope of starting a new life after liberation.

Unfortunately, this prisoner never managed to leave the camp.

However, these precious jewels remain a poignant testament to human ingenuity and the hope for a better future, even in the worst circumstances

This ring and chain will now be displayed at the Auschwitz Museum, not only as jewelry but also as symbols of hope in the context of war and suffering in concentration camps.

They will stand as a memorial to the horrors endured by thousands of people.
