A neighbor decided not to throw away his old sink and made a useful thing out of it: here’s what he did

Once I noticed that a neighbor who had always been a bit eccentric did not throw away his old sink, as anyone else would have done in his place.

On the contrary, he started doing something with it. This caught my attention. I always knew that he had some inclination towards creative projects, but this time I became really interested in what he had in mind. I decided to come closer and find out what was going on.

When I approached his site, I saw how he carefully laid bricks. And on top of it he put an old sink.

At first I thought he just decided to install it for some household need, but the longer I watched, the more I couldn’t figure out what he was planning.

The neighbor noticed me and, smiling, invited me to have a look. He told me that he was planning to build a barbecue.

He continued to work, and soon I realized that he was making a real barbecue! He put a grate on top so that the meat would fry perfectly.

After a while, the grill was ready. We lit the fire and soon began to fry the meat. The fire burned evenly, and the smell of freshly cooked kebabs filled the air.

However, it is worth noting that the metal in the sink was not very thick, and, as I noticed, it quickly began to burn out. But, nevertheless, for a few get-togethers with friends or for a quick dinner, this is quite suitable.

Next time I have old equipment or some technology, I will know for sure: before throwing it away, it is worth thinking, maybe you can make something interesting out of it.
