Tonsil Stone

This appears to be a tonsil stone (tonsillolith), which is a hardened accumulation of debris in the crevices of the tonsils. These stones form from trapped food particles, bacteria, dead cells, and mucus that calcify over time.

Symptoms of Tonsil Stones:
• Bad breath (halitosis)
• Feeling of a foreign object in the throat
• Mild throat irritation or discomfort
• Difficulty swallowing (in more severe cases)

How to Remove Them:
• Use a damp cotton swab – Gently press around the stone to dislodge it.
• Gargle with salt water – Helps clean the area and prevent future stones.
• Use an oral irrigator (Waterpik) – Can flush out debris from the tonsils.
• See a doctor – If stones are large or recurrent, a doctor can remove them or recommend further treatment.
